For defrosting frozen food with a temperature of about -18 to -20 °C, use the following table as a guide.

All frozen food should be defrosted using defrosting power level (180 W).

				thinner edges with aluminium foil.
Pork steaks	250 g	7-8		Turn over after half of defrosting
				time!
Poultry
Chicken pieces	500 g	12-14	15-60	Put chicken pieces first skin-side
	(2 pcs)			down, whole chicken first breast-
Whole chicken	1200 g	28-32		side-down on a ceramic or glass
				plate on turntable. Shield the
				thinner parts like wings and ends
				with aluminium foil. Turn over after
				half of defrosting time!
Fish
Fish fillets	200 g	6-7	10-25	Put frozen fish in the middle
				of a ceramic or glass plate on
				turntable.
Whole fish	400 g	11-13		Arrange the thinner parts under
				the thicker parts. Shield narrow
				ends of fillets and tail of whole fish
				with aluminium foil. Turn over after
				half of defrosting time!
Fruit
Berries	300 g	6-7	5-10	Spread fruit on a flat, round glass
				dish (with a large diameter).
Bread
Bread rolls	2 pcs	1-1½	5-20	Arrange rolls in a circle or bread
(each ca. 50 g)	4 pcs	2½-3		horizontally on kitchen paper on
				the ceramic plate.
Toast / Sandwich	250 g	4-4½		Turn over after half of defrosting
				time.
German bread	500 g	7-9
