Switching between applications
Tap and hold 
to view all running applications, and then select one from the applications.
Closing an application
Close applications not in use to save battery power and maintain device performance. Tap and hold

Applications screen
The Applications screen displays icons for all applications, including any new applications installed.
On the Start screen, scroll left to open the Applications screen.
Installing applications
Use application stores, such as Store, to download and install applications.
Uninstalling applications
Tap and hold an application, and then tap uninstall.
Default applications that come with the device cannot be uninstalled.
