Mobile AP

You can set your device as a wireless access point for PCs or other devices, and share your device's mobile network connection through the WLAN feature.

1	In Idle mode, open the application list and select
2		Settings → Wireless and network → Mobile AP.
		Select Mobile AP to activate the mobile AP feature.
3		Select Mobile AP settings to customise the mobile
		AP feature:
		Option	Function
		Network	View and edit the device name that
		SSID	will be shown to external devices.
			View or edit the network key to
		Security	prevent unauthorised access to the
			network.
		Hide my	Block other devices from locating your
		device	device.

4	When you are finished, select Save.
5	From another device, locate your device's name in the
	available connection list and connect to the network.

Your device shares the mobile network connection on another device.

USB tethering

You can set your device as a wireless modem for PCs and share your device's mobile network connection via USB.

1	Using an optional PC data cable, connect the
2	multifunction jack on your device to a PC.
	In Idle mode, open the application list and select
	Settings → Wireless and network → Tethering.
