This section describes how to make or answer a call. It also includes the features and functionality associated with making or answering a call.

Displaying Your Phone Number

Tap Settings About device Status. Your phone number is displayed in the My phone number field.

Making a Call

1.From the Home screen, tap and use the on-screen keypad to enter the number you wish to dial.

2.Tap to make the call.

Note: When you activate the Auto redial option in the Voice Call menu, the phone will automatically redial up to 10 times when the person does not answer the call or is already on the phone. For more information, refer to “Call Settings” on page 44.

Making an International Call

1.From the Home screen, tap , then touch and hold

. The + character appears.

2.Use the on-screen keypad to enter the country code, area code, and phone number.

If you make a mistake, tap until the desired numbers have been deleted.

3.Tap to make the call.

Manual Pause Dialing

To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it in your Contacts list:

1.From the Home screen, tap and use the on-screen keypad to enter the phone number.

2.Press to display the dialer sub-menu.

3.Tap Add 2-sec pause to add a two-second pause, and use the keypad to enter the additional numbers.

Tip: You can create pauses longer than two seconds by entering multiple 2-second pauses.
