White Balance
Using the White Balance function, you can select a setting that matches the light illuminating the subject you are shooting (Daylight, Fluorescent, etc.). Based on your selection, the camcorder automatically adjusts the color of the subject so the colors in your recording look natural.

Select the record by pressing the MODE button. page 23
1. Touch the Menu () tab “8IJUF#BMBODF”
2.Touch the desired submenu item.

3.To exit the menu, touch the Exit ( ) or Return () tab.
Submenu items
t Auto: Controls the white balance automatically depending on the recording conditions.
t Daylight (): Controls the white balance according to the outdoor lighting.
t Cloudy (): For recording in the shade or cloudy weather.
t Fluorescent (): For recording under white fluorescent lights.
t Tungsten (): For recording under halogen lamps and
incandescent lights.
t Custom WB (): You can manually adjust the white balance to match the light source or situation.

Understanding White Balance
White balance (WB) is the process of removing unrealistic color casts, so that objects which appear white are rendered white in your image. Proper white balance has to take into account the “color temperature” of a light source, which refers to the relative warmth or coolness of white light.
