Este posibil ca discurile Blu-ray să includă trei fluxuri audio:

-Caracteristica audio principală: Coloana sonoră pentru caracteristica principală.

-Fluxul audio BONUSVIEW: O coloană sonoră adiţională, precum comentariile directorului sau ale unui actor.

-Efecte de sunet de navigare: Efectele de sunet produse la navigarea prin meniul discului sau al filmului. Aceste efecte sunt diferite pentru fiecare disc Blu-ray.
