Enable Discovery

Wenn Sie die Option Enable Discovery aktivieren, ermittelt das Gerät mit Hilfe von SLP-Erkennung dynamisch Peergeräte, ohne dass deren Standort im Netzwerk vorher bekannt sein muss. Auf diese Weise kann der Konfigurations- und Wartungsaufwand für komplexe Systeme erheblich reduziert werden.

SLP-Erkennung setzt voraus, dass für Multicast konfigurierte Router eingesetzt weden, und dass

deshalb DNS-SRV-Erkennung als empfohlener Erkennungsmechanismus eingesetzt wird.

Enable Host Discovery

Mit Hilfe der Funktion Enable Host Discovery kann das Portal Hosts ermitteln, die nicht in eine PCoIP-Sitzung eingebunden sind. Nach Aktivierung kann das Portal maximal 10 verfügbare Hosts anzeigen, damit sie ermittelt werden. Die Funktion Enable Host Discovery sollte nur bei einer kleinen Anzahl von Hosts verwendet werden.
