Myönnetyt tunnisteet eli ID:t voidaan näyttää heksadesimaaleina. ID 0 täytyy kuitenkin näyttää muodossa 0xFF.

Kaikki tiedonsiirto tapahtuu heksadesimaalimuodossa. Tarkistussumma lasketaan laskemalla kaikki muut arvot paitsi etuliite yhteen. Jos tarkistussummassa on enemmän kuin kaksi numeroa, kuten ohessa (11+FF+01+01=112), ensimmäinen numero poistetaan.
