1.Sluk for både computer og monitor.

2.Fjern videostikkablet fra computerens bagpanel.

3.Tænd for monitoren.

Hvis monitoren fungerer korrekt, vil du se et felt med indrammet tekst som vist på følgende illustration.

Hvis skærmen fungerer korrekt, vil du se en boks som vist herunder.

Denne boks vises ved normal drift, hvis videokablet frakobles eller beskadiges.Denne boks kommer også frem under normal drift, hvis videokablet går løst eller bliver ødelagt.

4.Sluk for din skærm, og tilslut videokablet igen. Tænd herefter for både computeren og skærmen. Hvis din skærm forbliver tom efter brug af den forrige procedure, skal du kontrollere din video-controller og dit computersystem. Din skærm fungerer korrekt.

Advarsler

Hvis der er noget galt med inputsignalet, vil der fremkomme en besked på skærmen, eller skærmbilledet forsvinder helt, selv om LED er aktiv. Beskeden kan angive, at monitoren er uden for scanning rækkevidde eller at du skal checke signalkablet.

Miljø
