Ha például a kábelbemeneti csatlakozóhoz kábeltelevíziós egység csatlakozik, a PIP funkció használatával nézheti a kábeltelevíziós egységből érkező műsorokat, valamint a HDMI-bemenethez csatlakoztatott Blu-ray lejátszóról a filmeket. A PIP nem működik azonos üzemmódban.

•• Ha a TV-készüléket PIP módban kapcsolja ki, eltűnik a Kép a képben ablak.
