1 Sluk for strømmen til den stationære pc, og tag strømkablet ud.

2Åbn den stationære pc.

3 Hvis SSD'en tilføjes som en yderligere lagringsenhed, skal den monteres i 2,5" harddiskbåsen. Slut derefter SATA-kablet og strømkablet til SSD'en. Hvis pc'en er udstyret med 3,5" harddiskbåse, skal SSD'en først sættes i et 2,5"-3,5" adapterbeslag, før den monteres i en tom harddiskbås.

4Hvis du erstatter en eksisterende harddisk med

SSD'en, skal du fjerne alle kabler, der er sluttet til harddisken, og derefter fjerne harddisken fra båsen. Sæt SSD'en i et 2,5"-3,5" beslag, og monter beslaget i en tom harddiskbås. Slut til sidst SATA-kablet og strømkablet til SSD'en.

Bemærk: Stationære pc'er har flere SATA- porte afhængigt af pc'ens chipset og bundkortmodel. Samsung anbefaler, at SSD'en sluttes til SATA 6 Gbps-porten med det laveste nummer.

Selvom SSD 830-serien er kompatibel med både SATA 3 Gbps-porte og 6 Gbps-porte, skal produktet være tilsluttet en SATA-port med 6 Gbps for maksimal ydelse.

De fleste stationære pc'er har mellem 4-6 SATA-porte, og hver SATA-port er nummereret på bundkortet.

Hvis SATA-portnumrene ikke er vist på bundkortet, eller hvis du er usikker på portnumrene, kan du blot installere SSD'en i enhver ledig port.

Som regel er SATA 6 Gbps-porte angivet med blå farve, så man kan kende forskel. For flere oplysninger henvises til brugervejledningen til din pc eller dit bundkort.
