Использование жесткого диска

Вкомпьютере имеется съемный жесткий диск IDE (integrated drive electronics). Жесткий диск IDE может хранить данные и программы, используемые компьютером. Диск подключается к разъему на системной плате.

Жесткий диск, поставляемый с компьютером, уже отформатирован. Не форматируйте жесткий диск. Это приведет к уничтожению данных на диске. Если требуется отформатировать новый диск или удалить все данные на существующем жестком диске, обратитесь к руководству своей операционной системы.

Установка/переустановка жесткого диска

Для установки нового жесткого диска следует обратиться в сервисный центр; замена жесткого диска не соответствует квалификации пользователя. Перед заменой жесткого диска выполните следующие указания.

•Создайте резервные копии файлов с данными старого жесткого диска.

•Для загрузки системы с CD-ROM в меню Boot, вызываемого из окна

System setup, установите параметр Bootable CD Check на Enabled, а также установите Boot Device Priority таким образом, чтобы сначала шел [DVD/ CD-ROM].

Когда все готово для установки нового жесткого диска, для установки драйвера устройства воспользуйтесь компакт-диском Recovery CD-ROM.

Для (пере)установки ОС используйте компакт-диск восстановления системы System Recovery, а для (пере)установки драйверов устройств – компакт-диск
