To Select the Source

Press the SOURCE button on the remote control to view an external signal source.

You can enter TV mode directly by using the TVbutton on the remote control.

You can enter HDMI mode directly by using the HDMIbutton on the remote control.

(PL-42C91HP/50C91H/42C71HPmodels only)

To Edit the Input Source Name

Name the device connected to the input jacks to make your input source selection easier.

1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.

Press the ……or ††button to select “Input”, then press the ENTERbutton.

Press the ……or ††button to select “Edit Name”, then press the ENTER button.

2. Press the ……or ††button to select “AV1”, “AV2”, “S-Video”, “Component1”,

“Component2”, “PC”, or “HDMI” input jack, then press the ENTERbutton.

In case of PL-42Q91HP/50Q91HPmodels, the Source List displays HDMI1 and

HDMI2 instead of HDMI.

3. Press the ……or ††button to select “VCR”, “DVD”, “D-VHS”, “Cable STB”,

“HD STB”, “Satellite STB”, “AV Receiver”, “DVD Receiver”, “Game”,

“Camcorder”, “DVD Combo”, “DHR”, or “PC” input source, then press

the ENTER button.

Press the EXIT button to exit.

When a PC with a resolution of 640 x 480@60Hz is connected to the HDMI IN 1 port,

you should set the HDMI1 mode to PC in the Source List of Input mode. If the HDMI1

mode is not PC, it may work depending on the TV setting.

1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.

Press the ……or ††button to select “Input”, then press the ENTERbutton.

2. Press the ENTERbutton to select “Source List”.

Press the ……or ††button to select signal source, then press the ENTERbutton.

You can choose between the following sets of jacks: AV1, Component1, Component2,

PC, HDMI on the TV’s rear panel and AV2 or S-Video on the TV’s side panel.

HDMI input can only be selected when the external device is turned on and connected

via HDMI.

In case of PL-42Q91HP/50Q91HPmodels, the Source List displays HDMI1 and HDMI2

instead of HDMI.

You can choose only those external devices that are connected to the TV.
