Uzglabāšanas periods ir atšķirīgs atkarībā no pārtikas produktu veida un uzglabāšanas temperatūras. Zemāk sniegtās rekomendācijas ir balstītas uz -18 °C (0 °F) temperatūru:

•svaiga mājputnu gaļa (veselas vistas), svaiga gaļa (steiki, cepeši): līdz 12 mēnešiem;

•zivis (liesa zivs, pagatavota zivs), svaigas garneles, jūras ķemmītes, kalmāri: līdz 6 mēnešiem;

•pica, desas: līdz 2 mēnešiem.

•No jauna nesasaldējiet atkausētus pārtikas produktus. Dažas pārtikas produktu daļas var pilnībā nesasalt.

•Neuzglabājiet saldētus pārtikas produktus ilgāk par maksimālo uzglabāšanas periodu.
