Ylempi pakastelaatikko

• Pakattujen pakasteruokien, kuten jäätelön, pekonin jne. säilytykseen.

Keskimmäine¨nalempi pakastelaatikko

• Sopivasti jaettujen leivän, lihan, kalan tai kuivattujen ruokien säilytykseen.

Lisää tilaa ruokatarvikkeille saadaan poistamalla laatikot ja jääpalakone (tai jääpalojen

jäädytysastia riippuen mikä tässä mallissa on).

HUOMAUTUS Ilmoitettu pakastinosan säilytystilavuus on laskettu jääpalat, jääpala-astia sekä ylä- ja keskilaatikot poistettuina.

Ruoan pakkaaminen

HUOMAUTUS Pakkaa ruoka talouteesi soveltuviin annoksiin.

Vihannes- ja hedelmäannosten ei tule olla suurempia kuin 1 kg, kun taas liha-annokset voivat olla kooltaan jopa 2,5 kg.

Pienemmät annokset jäätyvät läpi nopeammin ja säilyvät siten paremmin ruokaa sulatettaessa ja käsiteltäessä.

On tärkeää tiivistää ruoat ilmatiiviiksi ennen pakastamista, jolloin niitä estetään menettämästä makuaan tai kosteuttaan.

Sopivia pakkausmateriaaleja:

Muovikalvo, polyeteenikalvo, alumiinikalvo ja pakastusrasiat. Näitä tuotteita saa kaupoista.

Soveltumattomia pakkausmateriaaleja:

Käärepaperi, rasvan kestävä paperi, selluloosakelmu, säilytyspussit, tai käytetyt muovï-paperikassit.

Aseta ruoka pakkaukseen, purista ilma pois ja sulje pakkaus ilmatiiviisti.

Sopivia sulkemismateriaaleja:

Kuminauhat, muovikiinnittimet, naru, pakasteteippi tai vastaava.

Polyeteenikalvo ja-pussit voidaan sulkea lämmön avulla käyttäen erityistä rautaa tai puristinta.

Jokaiseen pakkaukseen tulee ennen pakastimeen asettamista merkitä selvästi sisältö ja pakastuspäiväys.
