Volume key (Menu 8.2.4)

Use this menu to set whether the phone mutes the call ringer or rejects a call if you press and hold [+/-] when a call comes in.

USB setting (Menu 8.2.5)

Use this menu to select a USB mode that will be used when you connect your phone to a PC via USB interface.

•Mediea transfer[MTP]: you can use MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode to transfer WMDRM (Window Media Digital Rights Management) contents with licence keys directly from the Windows Media Player to the phone. You can also get new licence keys for the DRM files that have expired licence keys.

MTP mode is available with Windows XP which supports Windows Media Player 10. For Windows 98, Me, 2000, install Windows Media Player 9 and the MTP driver. The MTP driver is included in the supplied CD or can be downloaded from http://wwwsamsungmobile.com.

•Samsung PC studio: you can use the Samsung PC Studio programme to synchronise data and transfer media files between the phone and a PC.

•Select mode: you can use the Any PC program to control your host PC on a guest PC, or transfer files between the two PCs.

Extra settings (Menu 8.2.6)

You can turn the automatic redialling or answering feature on or off.

•Auto redial: set the phone to make up to ten attempts to redial a phone number after an unsuccessful call.
