Automatically deactivating private mode

You can set the device to automatically deactivate private mode each time the screen turns off.

On the Settings screen, tap Privacy and safety Private mode, and then tap the switch to activate it.

Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the preset private mode access code.

Tap the Auto disable switch to activate it.

When the Auto disable option is enabled, the device will fail to transfer files to the private folder if the screen turns off during transfer.

Send SOS messages

In an emergency situation, quickly press the Power key three times. The device sends messages to your primary contacts. The messages include your location information.

On the Settings screen, tap Privacy and safety Send SOS messages, and then tap the switch to activate it.

Follow the on-screen instructions to add primary contacts if you have not already done so.

To send help messages with audio recordings or photos, tap the Attach audio recording or Attach pictures switch to activate it.

The Attach pictures option may not be available depending on the region or service provider.

Adding primary contacts

On the Settings screen, tap Privacy and safety Send SOS messages Send messages to ADD. Tap Create contact and enter contact information or tap Select from contacts to add an existing contact as a primary contact.
