To access the Settings menu:

1.Press the left softkey for Menu.

2.Press for Messaging.

3.Press for Settings.

Notifications

The Notifications options allow you to select whether a message in a popup window appears to alert you that new messages are waiting. To turn On the Display Popup option:

1.In the Settings menu, press for Notifications.

2.Select Message and Icon using the navigation key and

press to select.

Sending Options

The Sending Options allow you to configure the Priority and Call Back number for outgoing messages. Once configured, these options are the default settings for any new messages that are created.

Priority

There are two priority levels associated with text messaging. They are:

•Normal: this option sends the message as normal with regular delivery.

•Urgent: this option sends the message at the highest level and alerts the recipient that it is urgent.

This setting allows you to select the default priority level when creating new messages. To select the priority level:

1. In the Settings menu, press for Sending Options.
