Setting the display and sound

Learn how to change the basic settings for the display and sound according to your preferences.

Changing the display type

Select a style of display for Shooting or Playback mode.

Press [D] repeatedly to change a display type.

	t Display all information about shooting
Shooting	t Hide information about shooting, except the
	available number of photos (or available recording
	time) and the battery icon
	t Display all information about the current photo
Playback	t Hide all information about the current file
	t Display information about the current file, except the
	shooting settings and captured date

Setting the sound

Set whether your camera emits a specified sound when you operate your camera.

1 In Shooting or Playback mode, press [m]. 2 Select Sound “ Beep Sound “ an option.

Option	Description
Off	The camera does not emit any sounds.
1/2/3	The camera emits sounds.
