Taking photos with the front display

Using the Couple mode

This mode detects two subjects leaning in toward each other and automatically captures images of posing couples.

1 In Shooting mode, press [Front LCD] twice.

t The white frame means that the faces are recognized.

t The green frame means that the faces are in focus when you half-press [Shutter].

2 Lean in toward each other in the frame.

t The camera will detect two faces of the subjects at the same distance

from the camera.

t The camera may not detect the composition depending on the pose

of couples.

Using the Children mode

In this mode, you can draw children’s attention to the camera by showing a short animation on the front display.

1 In Shooting mode, press [Front LCD] three times.

t An animation will play.

2 Align your subject in the frame and half-press [Shutter]. 3 Press [Shutter] to take the photo.

t You can download animations from the website. Visit www.samsung.com for more information.

t You can add sounds to animations to draw children's attention. (p. 86) t You can set the camera to automatically release the shutter when it

detects a smiling face while using the Children mode. (p. 89)
