USING THE TELE MACRO (MACRO)

•	Tele Macro function works in both Camera and M.Cam mode. ➥page 18
•	Effective focal distance in Tele Macro mode is 50 cm (19.7 inches) to 100 cm	CARD	TAPE	MODE
	(39.4 inches).	(VP-D395i only)

1. Set the Select switch to CARD or TAPE. (VP-D395i only).

2. Press the MODE button to set Camera ( ).

3.Press the MENU button.

• The menu list will appear.

	Camera Mode
4. Move the Joystick (▲ / ▼) up or down to select "Camera", then press the	Camera
	Program AE		￿ Auto
Joystick or move the Joystick (X) to the right.
	White Balance		￿ Auto
	Visual Effect		￿ Off
5. Move the Joystick (▲ / ▼) up or down to select "Macro", then press the	16:9 Wide		￿ On
	Macro		￿ Off
Joystick.	DIS		￿ Off
	Move	Select	MENU Exit

6.To activate the Macro function, move the Joystick (▲ / ▼) up or down to select

"On", then press the Joystick.			Camera Mode
• If you do not want to use the Macro function, set the "Macro" menu to "Off".
			Program AE
			Camera
7. To exit, press the MENU button.			White Balance
			Visual Effect
•	Tele Macro (	) indicator is displayed.	16:9 Wide
			Macro			Off
	• When recording in Tele Macro mode, the focus speed may be slow.		DIS		✔ On
			Move	Select		MENU Exit
	• When you operate the zoom function in the Tele Macro mode, the recording
	subject may be out of focus.			STBY	SP	0:00:00
	• Use a tripod (not supplied) to prevent hand shake in the Tele Macro mode.		16:9 Wide

	• Avoid shadows when recording in the Tele Macro mode.					S 16BIt
	• As the distance to the subject decreases, focussing area narrows.			No Tape !
	• When you can not achieve proper focus, use the Joystick (W/T) or Zoom lever.		M 1/50
