PIP (Picture-in-Picture; VP-W63 only)
✤The PIP(Picture-in-Picture) feature works in combination with the DIGITALZOOM function by using a
small, super imposed screen to show an image that is wider than the image being shot. This should
help you to get a more clear idea of what you are shooting.
- The PIPfunction works in CAMERA mode only.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERAmode.
2. Turn on the DIGITALZOOM facility. (see page 29)
3. Press the MENU ON/OFF button, the MENU List
will be displayed.
4. Turn the UP/DOWN dial until PIP..........OFF is
highlighted.
5. Press ENTER, the PIPON and a small screen
should appear.
6. Check which part you are shooting on the PIPscreen,
and move the Zoom button to the “T” position to
activate the DIGITALZOOM.
7. Setting PIP......ON to OFF in the MENU will make the
small screen disappear and switch the PIPmode off.
Notes: ■The PIPscreen will be recorded if it is activated while recording.
■The MENU ON/OFF function will not operate in EASY, REC or CUSTOM mode.
■PIPfunction will not operate in DSE mode.
