Snap Shot (VP-W63 only)
✤ With the SNAPSHOT feature, your camcorder can function like a normal film camera, allowing you to
take single still pictures.
- The SNAPSHOT function only operates in the CAMERAmode.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERAmode.
2. Press the SNAPSHOT button when you have the picture
you wish to capture.
■At this time, be careful not to shake your camcorder
because the image will be indistinctly recorded.
3. Once the SNAPSHOT button has been pressed, your camcorder will automatically return to
STANDBYmode after approximately 6 seconds.
■You can check the remaining available SNAPSHOT space by looking at the time displayed on
the screen.
■To stop SNAPSHOT shooting, press the SNAPSHOT
button again.
Notes:
■If the camcorder is knocked or shaken while taking a SNAPSHOT, the image may be blurred.
■The SNAPSHOT is activated in recording.
■When the SNAPSHOT button is pressed in CAMERAmode with no tape installed,
a still image will be displayed in the viewfinder.
■The SNAPSHOT function will not operate in EASY, MENU or CUSTOM modes.
