Learn how to set the timer to delay shooting.

1 Rotate the drive mode dial to 2 Sec or 10 Sec.

Option Description

2 Sec: Take a photo in 2 seconds.

10 Sec: Take a photo in 10 seconds.

2 Press [Shutter] to start the timer.

•The AF-assist light/timer lamp blinks. The camera will automatically take a photo at the specified time.

•Rotate the drive mode dial to Single to cancel the timer.

•Depending on the timer option, some face detection options are not available.

•You cannot use the timer in the Panorama mode and the Panorama Action mode.
