Desagüe

Samsung recomienda un tubo vertical de 18 in (65 cm.) de altura. La manguera de desagüe debe ajustarse por medio del gancho de la manguera de desagüe al tubo vertical. La toma de agua debe tener la sufi ciente longitud como para aceptar el diámetro exterior de la manguera de desagüe. La manguera de desagüe viene conectada de fábrica.

Piso

Para un mejor desempeño, la lavadora debe estar instalada sobre un piso de construcción sólida. Posiblemente los pisos de madera necesiten reforzarse para minimizar la vibración y/o el desequilibrio de la carga. Las superfi cies alfombradas o con revestimiento sintético son factores que contribuyen a la vibración y/o a la tendencia de que la lavadora se mueva levemente durante el ciclo de centrifugado.

Nunca instale la lavadora sobre una plataforma o sobre una estructura con soportes poco resistentes.

Temperatura circundante

No instale la lavadora en áreas donde el agua se congele, dado que la lavadora siempre retendrá algo de agua en el área de la válvula de agua, la bomba y la manguera. El agua congelada dentro de los conductos puede dañar las correas, la bomba y otros componentes.

Instalación del electrodoméstico en un gabinete o en un hueco

Para funcionar de manera segura y adecuada, su nueva lavadora requiere de espacios libres mínimos de:

Lados – 25 mm

Posterior – 51 mm

Superior – 25 mm

Frontal – 465 mm

Si se instalan una lavadora y una secadora juntas, el frente del gabinete o hueco debe tener una abertura de al menos 465 mm sin obstrucciones. Si se instala únicamente una lavadora, no se requiere una abertura específi ca.

Seleccionar una ubicación

Antes de instalar la lavadora, asegúrese de que la ubicación:

•Tenga una superfi cie resistente y nivelada sin alfombras ni revestimientos para pisos que puedan obstruir los orifi cios de ventilación.

•Esté alejada de la luz solar directa

•Tenga una ventilación adecuada

•No corra riesgos de congelamiento (menos de 32 ˚F o 0 ˚C)

•Esté alejada de las fuentes de calor, tales como gasolina o gas

•Tenga sufi ciente espacio como para que la lavadora no quede apoyada sobre su cable de alimentación
