To avoid an unstable connection, connect the player to the computer directly rather than through a USB hub.

All functions on the player are disabled during the PC connection.

NOTE Use FAT 32 for the ﬁle system when formatting the player on your PC. In Windows Vista, click Restore device defaults and format it.

If you connect the USB cable to the PC and the player’s battery charge is low, the player will be charged for several minutes before connecting to the PC.
