Date and time settings

Set the current time and date.

Scroll to a unit and press to change the time or date. To save the time and date, press .

System settings

Menu	Description
	Enter personal information, such as your name and
	birthday.
Owner		Note
		Your name will be displayed on the screen

		when your player is turned on. On your
		birthday, the message "Happy birthday" will
		be displayed.
Sleep timer	Set to turn off your player automatically after a
	specified period of time.

Menu	Description
	Select a USB connection mode to connect your
	player to a PC.
	- <MSC>: A PC will recognise your player as a
	removable disk. The USB connection mode is set
	to <MSC> by default.

PC	- <MTP>: A PC will recognise your player as a
Connection	media device.
		Note
		The feature may be unavailable depending on
		your region.
	Update the file library. Use this option after changing
	the contents display language (select <Settings> →
	<Language> → <Contents>) when file names do not
Update	display correctly on your player.

		When you set the USB connection mode to
		<MTP>, <Update library> will not appear.
Reset to	Restore all settings to the factory settings.
