Setting the Text Entry Options
To set the text entry options:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Others().
4. Select Text Entry.
5. Select your desired option and press .
䡲Auto-Capitalto set the auto-capital On or Off.
䡲My Wordsto set your original words.
䡲Input Languageto select the language (English or
Spanish).
䡲T9 Settingsto customize the T9 settings (see page 42).
䡲Add Wordto store words that you use frequently
(see page 43).
Setting Abbreviated Dialing
Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing.It
allows you to dial a number by entering 3-6 digits of any
number in your Contacts Directory.If the digits you enter
do not match any stored Contacts entry,your phone will
automatically prepend the digits you specify.
To activate this feature:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Others().
4. Select Abbrev. Dial.
5. Select Ph. Book Match.
6. Select Enable.
