œThe display to set the aperture size and shutter speed appears.

œPress [d] or [c] on the arrow button

to select aperture size \or shutter speed ä, and press [j] or [l] on the arrow button to change the setting.

Setting range:

Aperture \: 4.9 to 11.8 (Tele)

2.7to 6.7 (Wide)

Shutter speed ä: 16 sec. to 1/2500 sec.

4 Press the SET button.

œThis completes the exposure control setting.

œYou are returned to the Shooting Setting Screen.

HINT

œWhen using a slow shutter setting, use a tripod or the like to stabilize the digital camera.

œA slow shutter speed makes shooting pictures in darker locations possible; however, image noise may increase.

œTo reduce the noise, set the noise reduction to on.

œWhen manual exposure control is selected, the exposure correction value becomes ±0 and exposure correction cannot be performed.

œIf the aperture value is set to F10 or higher, the resolution of the shot picture may be slightly reduced.

CAUTION

œWhile the Exposure Control Setting Screen is displayed (step 3), the zoom function is disabled.
