If the date and time are not set...
œJune 1, 2001, 00:00 (midnight) becomes the set time, and during playback the displayed time will show as “2001/06/01 00:00”.
To correct the date and time setting
1On the screen in step 4, press [l] on the arrow button to select the line you wish to correct.
2Press [c] to select the indication you wish to correct.
3Press [j] or [l] on the arrow button to correct the indication.
4Press the [SET] button.
Check the clock after changing the batteries.
œWhen you replace the batteries, the internal clock setting is usually backed up for up to 15 minutes. However, depending on how long the batteries have been used, in some cases the date and time setting may be cleared. For this reason, after changing the batteries and before taking pictures, it is recommended that you check that the clock setting is correct (steps 1 through 4).
