5.Recharge the jump starter after use and every 3 months to full charge status to extend the battery’s life.
If the charger is plugged in for over 48 hours and the battery(s) do not fully charge in this time, CHG ERR is shown on the Display. The batteries may be getting old and will no longer accept a charge.

1.Secure clamp in open position using a vise or equivalent clamping device. IMPORTANT: Make sure the rotary switch on the front panel is in the O (OFF) position and the jump starter is not plugged into a 110V AC electrical wall outlet.
2.Unscrew fastener securing the cables to the rear of the top jaw.
3.Unscrew fasteners (2) securing the Copper Jaws to the plastic clamp. Remove the jaws and braided cable.
4.Reverse for assembly.
