Configuring the Default Settings
You can use the default settings, or, if your system requires different settings to operate correctly, you can change the default settings using the Setup Basic Settings – Network Configuration page.
If you are not familiar with the network configuration procedures detailed in this section, contact your cable service provider before you attempt to change any of the gateway cable modem default network configuration settings.
Click Network Configuration in the Basic Settings section of the Setup page to access the Setup Basic Settings – Network Configuration page.
