ADJUSTING STITCH DENSITY

Depending upon the fabrics on which you are sewing, or your own preference in button- holes, you may alter buttonhole stitch density by varying the original stitch length setting within the green zone.

1.For more density, turn thediat away from you.

2.For less density, turn the d_al toward you.

CORDED BUTTONHOLES

Hook filler cord (crotchet thread or button- hole twist) to the spur (A), pull both ends of cord forward under foot and tie to the spur

(B). Sew buttonhole in such a way that zigzag stitches cover the cord.

When stitching is completed, release cord from foot, pull ends of cord and snip off extra length.
