2. Beforeplacingthematerialonthemachine,seethattheendsof thethreadshavebeendrawnabout4 inchestotherearofthemachine.Holdontothreads
duringthesewingofthefirst3 or4stitchesoftheseam,
3. Testthemachinestitchonascrapoffabricyouplantouse.Thefabricshouldbedoublethickness,Adjustthemachineforthelengthof stitchandtension
suitableto yourfabric.
4. Fabricshouldbeplacedunderthepresserfootwiththebulkofthematerialto theleftoftheneedleandtherightedgeofthematerialplacedonthe5/8"
seammarkingontheneedleplatewhenmakinga simpleseam.
5. Runthemachineataslowevenspeed.Themorepressureyouputonthefootcontrol,thefasterthemachinewillsew.
6. FasteneachseambybacktacMngatthebeginningandendoftheseam.
7. Alwaysfimshsewingeachseamwiththeneedleatitshighestpoint,
8. Guidethefabricgentlywithyourhandinfrontoftheneedle.Neverpullorholdthefabricin suchawaythatthenormalfeedingisaltered.
