IHighly directional through combination of the pressure-gradient and the interference-tube principles.

The directional characteristic is cardioid at low to mid-frequencies

and narrow-beam-shaped at frequencies above 2000 Hz.

This head ensures excellent pickup even in acoustically poor environments and allows distant voice pickup.
