OPERATING AUDIOLINKTM PLS-100

OPERATING TIPS

- The transmitter should be positioned as high as possible, preferably on top of the TV. It has to be turned toward the headset (receiver). Make sure the transmitter is not covered; it has to be placed so that \(entilation is not obstructed.

-The transmitter is designed for continuous operation.

-The audio cable and plug adapter should be connected securely to the back of the iransmitter. If the connection is not tight, the sound transmission will be "noisy." If this occurs, check the connectors to ensure a firm fit.

-Adjust volume on your TV or hi-fi components to a medium volume. Note: If you are connecting the audio cable to the headphone jack on your TV, new TVs have aseparate control for the headphone outlet. Refer to the manual for your TV. If the audio output on your TV/audio equipment uses "mini" type jacks, use the adapter provided.

-Direct sunlight and incandescent light can interfere with the

transmission of infrared light. For best results, do not use headset near a sunlit window or close to an incandescent

lamp.

PROBLEM SOLVING TIPS

-Hissing noise only- The LED on the headset may not be directed toward the LEDs on the transmitter; the transmitter may be defective; or the transmitter may not be set into operation.

-Volume turned to maximum on headset but no signal available-Signal is missing. Check connection to transmitter. (If volume can be adjusted at the headphone socket, adjust volume upward until transmitter is activated.) See manual of TV/hi-fi components.

-Sound is disturbed-Battery is completely discharged. Recharge it immediately!

-Sound is slightly noisy- Transmitter is not positioned in op- timum way or connectors are not secured tightly; reception is obstructed; or the headset is in direct sunlight or too close to a lamp. Block light source.
