In certi casi, si può verificare la condizione di eccedenza o di errore. Sul display appare allora l’indicazione “E”. Il contenuto della memoria nel momento in cui si verifica l’errore viene conservato.

Se quando si verifica l’errore appare “0•E”, viene stampato “– – – – – – –” in rosso e bisogna usare C CE per azzerare la calcolatrice.

Condizioni d’errore:

1.Quando la parte intera di un risultato supera le 12 cifre.

2.Quando la parte intera del contenuto della memoria consiste in più di 12 cifre. (Es.: M 999999999999 M+ 1 M+ )

3.Dividendo un qualsiasi numero per zero.(Es.: 5 0 )
