Channel memory setting

1 Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

2 Press c/dto select “Setup”.

Antenna Setup – DIGITAL

In order to receive digital air broadcasts, you need a digital broadcast antenna. You can confirm the antenna configuration through the “Antenna Setup - DIGITAL” screen.

If necessary, adjust the direction of the antenna to obtain the maximum signal strength.

3 Press a/bto select “CH Setup”, and then press ENTER.

•If you already set the Secret No., input the 4- digit secret number here. See page 38 for setting a secret number.

Signal Strength

1 Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

4 Press a/bto select “CH Memory”, and then press ENTER.

5 Press a/bto select ANALOG and DIGITAL (Air), and then press ENTER.

6 Perform the following steps after confirming the type of antenna connection made with your TV, and the channel type selected in Step 3.

When viewing ANALOG broadcasts:

1Press a/b, and then press c/d to select the channel to skip or not.

2Press a/bto select “Skip”, and then press c/dto select “On” or “Off”.

When viewing DIGITAL broadcasts:

1Press a/b to select the channel to skip or not, and then press c/d to select “On” or “Off”.

•On: Skips channels. (Channel selection disabled using CHr/s.)

•Off: Does not skip channels. (Channel selection enabled using CHr/s.)

NOTE

• Make sure what kind of connection is made with your TV.

2 Press c/dto select “Setup”.

3 Press a/b to select “Antenna Setup - DIGITAL”, and then press ENTER.

•If you already set the Secret No., input the 4- digit secret number here. See page 38 for setting a secret number.

4 Press a/bto select “Signal Strength”.

•The signal strength of the DIGITAL (Air) antenna is displayed. The signal information is based on the current channel.

•The channel signal strength can also be checked separately.

1Repeat steps 1 to 3 in Signal Strength in

Antenna Setup - DIGITAL

2Press a/bto select “Channel Strength”, and then press ENTER.

3Input the 2-digit channel number to check the signal strength of the selected channel.

•Make sure the appropriate signal strength of each channel received is obtained.
