Selecting an item from SETUP Group A

1Perform steps 1 and 2 in Common Operation.

2Press a/bto select “AUTO INSTALLATION”, and then press OK.

3Press c/dto select the desired language for the on-screen display.

4Press bto select “SELECT COUNTRY”, and press c/dto select your country.

5Press OK to start Auto Channel Preset.

•You do not need to do anything during the Auto Channel Preset.

6When the Auto Channel Preset has been completed, the “EDIT” menu screen is displayed.

Selecting an item from SETUP Group B

1Select the programme number you want to preset

with Programme select (0-9) or Programme List (a/b).

2Perform steps 1 and 2 in Common Operation.

3Press a/bto select, “MANUAL TUNE”, and then press OK.

4Press a/b to select the desired menu item (Example: “TYPE”, “SYSTEM” etc).

5Press c/dor Programme select (0-9) to select/ adjust.

EAUTO INSTALLATION

Menu Operation: SETUP Group A (left side of this page)

In this menu you can perform the Initial Auto Installation again.

Using this routine, you can select the on-screen display “SELECT LANGUAGE”, set the “SELECT COUNTRY”, and automatically search for and store all the receivable TV and FM radio channels.

•Automatic Channel Sorting System (ACSS): The TV set searches for frequencies, memorises the channels found, and sorts them (according to technical criteria).

For TV channels: from Pr-01 to a maximum of 99 programmes.

For FM RADIO channels: from Pr-01 to a maximum of 40 programmes.

•This tuning process may take several minutes to perform.

When the automatic search has been completed, the “EDIT” menu (Stored Programmes) will appear on screen and you can change the order of the channels, delete channels, and change or give the channels an eight-letter name. (See page 20.)

EMANUAL TUNE

Perform the procedure to search for and store new TV programmes after the First Installation routine.

(e.g. when a new TV broadcasting station being installed on your geographic area).
