Display status upon start-up
Restores the display as it was before the unit was switched off
(Resume function).
The main menu screen appears.
The main display of each dictionary and/or function appears (Direct-
on function).
Auto power off function
To save the battery, the PW-E310 will automatically turn its power off if no key
operations are detected for a set period of time. The activation interval initial setting
is 5 minutes, but it can be adjusted by following the directions on page E-12.

To attach a commercially available strap
A carrying strap can be attached, as shown in the picture below.
Caution:
Do not swing the unit by the strap, or use excessive
force to pull the strap. Doing so will cause a
malfunction or hardware damage to the unit.
