AppendixTroubleshooting
Some malfunctions can be resolved without outside intervention. The
following table provides a list of such malfunctions.

No display. Mobile telephone not
switched on.

Batteries empty. Charge or replace bat-
teries.
No reaction to key-
stroke.
Keypad lock activat-

Base Search
The mobile telephone
is outside the base ra-
dio range; radio signal
too weak.
Move into radio
range, change loca-
tion.
Mobile telephone not
registered.
Register mobile tele-
phone.
Interval between syn-
chronisation attempts
are too long.
Switch off handset
and switch it back on
again.
No ringer at the mo-
bile telephone.
Ringer is deactivated. Activate the ringer.
Nothing audible dur-
ing a call.
The left side of the
control key was
pressed – the micro-
phone and the receiv-
er inset are muted.
Press the "Go Back"
display key to re-acti-
vate the microphone
and the receiver inset.
The following appears
immediately after the
talk key is pressed:
Connect. Release
No dial tone available;
