Getting started

Inserting the SIM card/ battery

The service provider supplies you with a SIM card on which all the important data for your line is stored. If the SIM card has been delivered in credit-card size, snap the smaller segment out and remove any rough edges.

Press the grooved area 1, then push cover towards the front in the direction indicated by the arrow 2.

•Place the SIM card in front of the slot with the contact surface fac-

ing downwards. Then press the SIM card slightly to push it in 3 (ensure that the chamfered corner is in the correct position).

•Insert the battery sideways into the phone 4, then press it down- wards 5 until it engages.

•To remove, press the retaining tab on the side of the battery, then lift the battery out.

•Place the cover in position and push it towards the front 6 until it latches into place.
