When new messages have been received a prompt

and the J icon appear on the display and the status

light on the handset flashes. If there are no new mes-

sages or calls, you can listen to old messages.

The playback begins immediately with the first new

message. After the last new message, the old messa-

ges are played back. After the last message, you hear

the end tone.

Pause During the Playback

DPress downward on the navi key to pause.

DPress downward once more on the navi key to conti-

nue.

If playback is paused for more than a minute the

answering machine goes back to idle status.
