Active Call Features
The following features are available only while connected to an active call.
Changing the Handset Earpiece Volume
Press the or key to change the handset v olume (5 levels).
Turning the Mute On and Off
Mute allows you to hear the other caller, but the other c aller cannot hear you. To turn
mute on or off,
1. Press to turn mute on (light blinks).
2. Press again to turn mute off (light off).
Answering a Call on Call Waiting
If you subscribe to a c all waiting servic e fr om y our local phone company,
1. Press to answer the second call.
2. Press again to return to the first call.
Speed Dialing and Memor y Numbers
Speed dialing enables you to stor e up to 10 memory number s (0 to 9). Each number
can have up to 22 digits (including pauses).
•Press to enter a 2-second pause between digits.
•Press to temporarily switch from pulse to tone dialing.
Adding a Memory Number
1. Press (light flic ker s).
2. Pr ess a memory loc ation from 0 to 9 (light on).
3. Enter the number (

dialing string)

to store in memory.
4. Press to save the number (light off).
NOTE: If a memory location already has a memory number, the
new memory number will replac e the old memory number.
