General instructions
Standby mode
The phone is in standby mode and is ready for use when the name of the service provider appears on the dis- play.

Signal strength | |
Z | Strong receiving signal. |
[ | A weak signal reduces the |
voice quality, can cause the connection to be lost, and consumes more cur- rent. Change your location.
Digital Rights Mgmt. (DRM)
Remember that your phone has Digital Rights Management. The use of downloaded pictures, sounds or applications can be restricted by the suppliers, e.g. copy protection, use for a limited period of time only, the number of times it can be used etc. (see also p. 75).

The main menu is displayed graphically with symbols:
