IrDA 39

IrDA

You can receive and send data to and from other IrDA-compliant devices such as a PC or a PDA.

The types of data you can exchange via IrDA include name cards, events, pictures, sound files or JavaTM files. However, you can only download, but not send JavaTM files.

Make sure that the distance between two IrDA devices does not exceed 30 cm and that nothing obstructs the IrDA beam.

Additional information

The data exchange may fail if the IrDA link is broken, the transferred file is too large, the phone does not connect before the time out is reached, or you cancel the action.
