MP875 Modem User Guide
The fast rate timer only becomes active when an alarm condition is triggered by a rise or drop in the level of one of the digital I/O channels. The default for the fast rate timer is three seconds.
Note: When the fast rate timer is set to 0, a single report is sent when an I/O alarm is triggered.
If the GPS timer is set to a value other than 0, it controls the frequency of reports in the absence of any alarm or event triggers. (However, if the GPS timer is set to a longer interval than the low rate timer, the value for the low rate timer will determine report frequency.)
