HOW TO DISENGAGE THE MOVABLE UPPER KNIFE

Disengage Movable Upper Knife:

Pull the holder (screw) as far as it will go to the right, and swing the knife down until it clicks into the resting position.

(To re-engage the knife, pull the holder to the right and swing the knife up until it clicks into the working position.)
