Backlight (Media Player Only)

The backlight feature sets the amount of time the backlight remains on after no buttons have been pressed on the media player. The time may be set to 5, 15, 30, or 60 seconds, or Always On if you want the backlight to always remain on. To set the backlight, select the Backlight menu option from the Display Settings menu when using the media player. Use Fast-Forward and Rewind to highlight your choice and press Play/Pause to set the backlight. (Figures 2 & 3)

Auto-Dim Off/On

The Auto-Dim Off/On feature turns the automatic dimming feature of the display screen in low light conditions On or Off. Details for setting auto-dim On or Off is found in the Auto Dim- ming section on page 78.

Auto-Dim Brightness

The Auto-Dim Brightness menu option sets the brightness of the display screen when it is dimmed. Details for setting the auto-dim brightness is found in the Auto Dimming section on page 78.
