capaz de transportar la corriente necesaria para la herramienta. Esto evitará caídas de tensión excesivas, pérdida de potencia o recalentamiento. Las herramientas conectadas a tierra deben usar cordones de extensión de 3 hilos que tengan enchufes de 3 terminales y receptáculos para 3 terminales.
